Data Recovery Center Nepal is Kathmandu's premier data recovery lab with over 15 years of experience. We specialize in recovering data from hard drives, SSDs, RAID systems, SD cards, USB drives, CCTV systems, and converting VHS tapes to digital.

We are located at Tebahal, Sankata, New Road-22, Kathmandu, Nepal. We are on the 1st floor near the Sankata Mandir area. Look for the blue Data Recovery Center sign.

We are open Sunday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday is closed. Emergency services are available 24/7 by calling our hotline.

Yes! While our lab is in Kathmandu, we accept shipments from all over Nepal. You can courier your device to us and we will ship the recovered data back.

PPricing

Pricing varies by device type and failure severity. Simple logical recoveries start from NPR 2,000. Complex mechanical or chip-level recoveries can range from NPR 5,000 to NPR 25,000+. We always provide a free diagnosis and exact quote first.

It means exactly what it says — if we cannot recover your data, you don't pay anything. This applies to the recovery fee. Diagnosis is always free. You only pay when we successfully recover your files.

No. Initial diagnosis and evaluation is completely free. We will assess your device, determine the failure type, and provide a quote at no cost.

Absolutely not. The quote we provide after diagnosis is the final price. There are no surprise charges for parts, labor, or anything else.

PProcess

Step 1: Bring or ship your device to us. Step 2: We diagnose the problem for free (usually within 24 hours). Step 3: We provide a quote. Step 4: Upon your approval, we perform the recovery. Step 5: Recovered data is returned on your chosen media.

Standard recovery takes 3-7 business days. Priority service is 1-3 days. Emergency same-day service is available for critical situations at an additional charge.

Yes. After the recovery process is complete, your original device is returned to you along with the recovered data on a new storage media.

Yes. Before final payment, we can show you a file listing of recovered data so you can verify that your important files have been recovered.

We recover data from: internal/external hard drives (HDD), solid-state drives (SSD/NVMe), RAID arrays, NAS devices, servers, SD cards, microSD cards, USB flash drives, CCTV DVR/NVR systems, GoPro cameras, dashcams, and more.

Yes. We recover data from Mac hard drives, Apple SSDs, Time Machine backups, and APFS/HFS+ formatted drives.

In many cases, yes. Water damage doesn't always destroy data. We clean and treat water-damaged media before attempting recovery. The sooner you bring it in, the higher the chances.

We can recover data from encrypted drives if you provide the encryption password or recovery key. Without the key, encrypted data cannot be accessed.

PPrivacy

Absolutely. All recovered data is treated with strict confidentiality. Our technicians follow a privacy protocol, and all your data is securely deleted from our systems after recovery is complete and you confirm receipt.

For business clients, we can sign an NDA before beginning work. Our lab has restricted access, and we follow data handling best practices for all recovery jobs.

No. We do not keep copies of your data after the recovery is complete. Once you confirm receipt and satisfaction, all copies on our systems are securely wiped.

No. Only the assigned recovery technician handles your device and data. We maintain strict access controls in our lab.
