These are the starting points for each type of job. Where a service is quoted only after diagnosis, it is because the cost depends too much on the array size, controller or extent of the damage to publish a useful figure.
Prices are starting points in Nepalese rupees, not fixed quotes. The figure you are given after diagnosis is the final price, with no additional charges for parts or labour.
Deleted files, a formatted drive or a corrupted file system are recovered from a healthy device, so the work is mostly software. A drive that has to be opened, repaired or read chip by chip costs considerably more.
Head assemblies and controller boards have to match the failed drive closely. When a donor unit has to be bought for a single job, that cost is part of the quote.
Larger drives take longer to image safely, and encrypted SSDs, RAID arrays and NAS units need more work to rebuild before any file can be read.

Pricing varies by device type and failure severity. Simple logical recoveries start from NPR 2,000. Complex mechanical or chip-level recoveries can range from NPR 5,000 to NPR 25,000 and above. We always provide a free diagnosis and an exact quote first.

No. The quote we provide after diagnosis is the final price. There are no surprise charges for parts, labour or anything else.
We can tell you which band a job is likely to fall into from the symptoms you describe, but not a final figure. Two drives with identical symptoms can need very different work, so an honest quote requires seeing the device.
Payment is due once recovery is successful and you have confirmed your files are intact. Bring the device to our Tebahal lab in Kathmandu, or contact us to arrange courier intake from elsewhere in Nepal.
